So what are some of the compliments to YouTube for video creation and video sharing?
In this video, I’ll share some of the other top platforms you can use to create and share your videos online. Some of the best options today include:
HOW DO YOU CHOOSE THE RIGHT ONE?
It’s simple. Select the channel where your audience is.
If you don’t know where you audience is, then experiment.
In my experiments, I’m posting my videos on YouTube and then sharing them on multiple platforms including Facebook personal, Facebook business page, LinkedIn and Twitter.
To this point in my experiments, I’ve found LinkedIn to be the most valuable. This is super important information.
Why? I know the profile of the typical LinkedIn user is different from Facebook.
LinkedIn users are generally professionals who seek more tactical and practical information related to their work. They aren’t looking for entertainment. If the information is helpful to their professional goals, they are willing to watch slightly longer videos. And they want a little more polished production.
If I want to go “all in” on LinkedIn I can now take this information and use it to improve my videos to make them optimized for my LinkedIn viewers.
Make sense?
