I’m super excited to get you (and myself) started on this 30-day challenge. Why? Because after working with hundreds of businesses, university students, and start-ups over the past 20 years, I know we are all capable of setting big goals and dreams, but we often fail at accomplishing them.
We don’t fail because we are lazy or unable to achieve what we set our mind to.
We fail because we don’t know how to set achievable goals and stay focused for 30 days (an amount of time most experts agree will allow you to create new habits that stick).
The Problem I’m Seeking to Solve
I see too many people and businesses with great ideas and great value not achieving the levels of impact and profitability they should be.
They are stuck in a rut of intending to do something, but not doing it. I’m here to help you breakthrough these self-imposed barriers so you have huge success.
Today’s video is about our 30 day challenge. And I challenge you to do the following 2 SIMPLE steps:
- Commit to watching and ACTING on these videos for the next 30 days
- Think about what you want to achieve and where you want to be 30 days from now and write out a simple contract to yourself using the samples below. Print this contract out and place it somewhere where you will read it every morning and every evening for the next 30 days.
That’s it.
I will warn you this is simple, but it’s not easy (more on this in the next 2 videos). However, if you embrace this challenge your business and your life will never be the same.

Sample Contract #2 is more detailed. Here it is
I,_______________________________ , hereby agree and commit to take the following steps to improve my accountability to myself and increase my chances for __________________ (business blogging for 30 days, visualizing success daily for 30 days, watching less TV, spending more time with my family, etc.):
I will not let one small slip-up convince me that I’m stupid, worthless, or a lost cause. I will respect myself by refusing to engage in verbal self-abuse, and I will find positive ways to comfort and support myself when I’m having a hard time. Specifically, I will…(Make a list of concrete things you will do instead of beating up on yourself or deciding your problems are too big to handle.)
I will not sacrifice my own needs to make other people happy, or do for them what they can and should be doing for themselves. When there is a conflict between my goals and what other people want me to do, I will negotiate to find a reasonable solution that allows me to do what I need to do for myself.
I choose to be in charge of my own decisions and behavior. I will not talk, think, or act as if my partner, child, spouse, cravings, or subconscious made me do it. I will ask myself what’s most important to me at that moment and make my decision. If I don’t like the consequences, I will try something different the next time.
